This hybrid puts on a wonderful display in the early summer. It produces numerous tall flower spikes, a range of beautifully coloured flowers from cream to pink and rose. Leave their spent flowers to allow them to spread in the garden. Since they are a biennial, the first season they can be easily transplanted into a desired location. The blooms attract pollinators like hummingbirds and bees, and they also make a great cut flower.
Caution: Toxic plant, but this makes it deer resistant.
We acknowledge with great respect and humility the T'Sou-ke Nation of the Coast Salish peoples whose relationship with these lands, now known as Sooke, continue, unbroken, to this day.
